Centre clears ₹100 cr infra projects in HP

    The Union Government has recently cleared three more infrastructure projects for Himachal Pradesh, entailing an investment worth over ₹100 crore, said an official spokesperson, adding that ₹50 crore has been sanctioned for Swan river channelization project in Una district, which would check the soil erosion, reclaim land and facilitate the farmers of the district. Apart from this, an amount of ₹27 crore has been sanctioned by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to the state to undertake the repair and maintenance of national highways and also ₹30 crore has been approved for drainage network and sewerage treatment plant of Poanta Sahib in Sirmaur district, which in turn will help in keeping the religious town neat and clean, he added.
