Himachal Pradesh Urban Development Authority (HIMUDA)
The Himachal Pradesh Urban Development Authority (HIMUDA) is all set to sign an agreement with a Singapore-based government owned firm to develop a mountain township near Shimla Airport. The decision to this effect was taken recently by Board of Directors of HIMUDA whereby the body approved to go ahead with the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise to develop a Mountain Town on the outskirts of Shimla near Airport and execute the implementation of the agreement with Singapore Government. The township is likely to develop nearly 3000-4000 flats in the project, for which land has already acquired by HIMUDA. The concerned minister exhorted officers to work with dedication and devotion to speed up the pace of ongoing projects, so that fast results could be witnessed on ground, said official sources.
