Bagging yet another project in the country’s road and highway sector, the renowned road and highway building major, Gayatri Projects has recently won road projects of Rs.923 crore involving two new orders of Rs.529 crore and Rs.394 crore respectively from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The company said in a recent official statement, claiming that the scope of work in the first project is for rehabilitation and upgradation of four-laning of Cuttack-Angul section of NH-42 from 60.200 km to 112 km (package 2) in Odisha. Similarly, the second contract also included the building of four laning of Rajamunda Barkote section of NH-23 in the same state. The contracts in question are to be executed on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, it added.
