The total size of the land parcels is 60-70 acres. The port trust owns around 93 land parcels with a total size close to 200 acres at various locations in Kolkata. Once the tender for these 20 parcels are successful the trust will put the remaining 70 odd land parcels for tender. Score of these land parcels are unused while some were in use till recently but vacant now. If it gets the payment upfront for all 93 land parcels, it could earn up to Rs.200 crore.
