    Drones to oversee Rs. 12,000-cr road project
    The highways ministry will use drones to keep surveillance over the progress of the construction work of Rs.12,000 crore Chardham road project and the web-based filmed contents will directly be connected with the PM's office, sources said. The mega project, which has been aimed at providing all weather connectivity to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri, is stretching across 900 km along the tough terrain in the hill state. The PM is taking keen interest in the project as it is very prestigious as thousands of commuters used this network of roads every day and the government is going all out to provide all-weather connectivity to these religious shrines. The PM also reviewed progress in handling and resolving of consumer grievances and he directed the consumer affairs department to improve the administrative arrangements for quick relief to consumers.
