    Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC)
In order to ease traffic congestion on the very busy road stretch, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has decided to build a flyover connecting Ramanthapur to Amberpet area of the city at an estimated cost of Rs 1,000 crore, said sources, adding that the civic body is building an integrated elevated corridor with four-lane Amberpet flyover which connects Salem Bible Church at Golnaka and end at Mukram Hotel at Amberpet market.

The flyover will not only ease the traffic congestion but also provide permanent solution to all the future projects like construction of an express highway from Uppal junction to Ghatkesar. The execution of the mega project requires 40-acre of land about 50 properties. The flyover would have four lanes and exit points on either side. In this connection, the corporation will soon hold a meeting with the R&B Department before submitting the proposal to the State government after which the construction work will start as quickly as possible, they claimed.
