PM launches Rs.3,769 cr roads in Bihar

    Adding to the road infrastructure of Bihar state, the Prime Minister has recently laid the foundation stone of road infra projects entailing investment of Rs.3,769 crore. The mega projects included the four-laning of Aunta-Simariya section of National Hinghway-31 and he also launched the construction of a six-lane bridge over the Ganga in the 'Taal' area of Mokama, besides laying the foundation stone of the mega sewage treatment plants in the state capital Patna. Summing up the progress of the road and other infrastructure projects across the state across the state in the past three years, the Prime Minister said that road construction projects worth Rs.53,000 crore had either been completed or the construction work currently is in full swing.
