Goa gets Rs.100 cr infra projects

    The state government in Goa has recently cleared infrastructure projects including building new roads worth Rs.100 crore in the Calangute constituency, chief minister said that road widening, sewerage pipeline network including water, sewage and garbage treatment plants are among the many other infrastructure projects taken up in Calangute. He further added that the focus during the current five-year term would continue to be on infrastructure development in the area for which the government has earmarked funds. Besides improving the road network, more footpaths and walkways would be developed for facilitating the smooth movement of foreign and local tourists.
