A team of DMRC engineers visited Haridwar last month for conducting survey and several points were marked by the team in the city. Now geotechnical investigation work has been started by the DMRC. The metro line will be constructed in phases and the first phase will connect Dehradun and Rishikesh and in the second phase, the metro lines will be laid on Dehradun-Haridwar route.
