
bauma is the world’s largest trade show for construction machinery, building material machines and mining machines, with a total exhibition space of 605,000 square meters. The once in three-year fair, would be organised in Munich, Germany, between April 8 and 14, 2019.
In 2016 bauma broke again all previous records, attracting a total of 3,425 exhibitors from 57 countries, and 583,736 visitors from around 200 countries.
"The Indian engineering industry is looking forward to participating in the prestigious fair, in its 2019 edition. Our construction and mining companies are fast adding value in terms of technology and scale and would be looking for new global opportunities through such fairs," said Mr. Sarkar.
Mr. Bhupinder Singh spoke about the importance of the bauma exhibition as an opportunity for Indian companies to reach out to the global markets and stressed the significance of the partnership with EEPC, that will enable SMEs to use this as a launch pad to drive international business through new business contacts.
India's engineering export basket is well diversified and has established a strong base in Europe. The EEPC India has entered into several strategic tie ups with leading global exposition organisations.
