The state government in Chhattisgarh has set aside a staggering sum of Rs.25,000 crore for building road infrastructure projects in the next two years across the state. The projects, which meant to connect all the block headquarter villages and also 66,000 small helmets will be electrified. Apart from this, in the next 5 months, the state will have flights connecting Bastar with Surguja and Raigarh and four big railway projects are also underway including Rowghat–Dalliraja-Jagdalpur and three other corridors. Currently, the state has 1,200 km of rail connectivity and in the next eight years, it will add 1,218 km more stretches on the rail radar.
