    Atlanta Road Project
Adding to the road network in the NCR between Gurgaon and Alwar in Rajasthan via Nuh in Mewat on Sohna Road, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to revise an old plan of constructing a 5.5 km elevated corridor and extending it to 16.5 km. The road from Rajiv Chowk to Sohna, popularly known as Sohna Road, is now National Highway-248 and it extends up to Alwar in Rajasthan. The detailed project report (DPR) on the 5.5 km road was almost ready as work on the stretch was underway for the last six months. Now, in a newest development, NHAI is thinking of extending the elevated corridor plan to 16.5 km but a final decision is expected shortly. The entire project, including construction of the elevated road and road widening would entail an estimated cost of Rs. 1,100cr, said an official spokesperson.
