NOIDA-DMICDC plans Rs. 20,000 cr metro line

    NOIDA DMICDC High Speed Metro
    In a joint initiative, the Greater Noida authority and the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited (DMICDC) have decided to build an industrial project in Greater Noida's Bodaki area and are all set to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) of 52.9 km High-Speed Metro project and also a normal Metro Link. The High-Speed Metro project, which entailed an investment worth Rs. 20,000cr, is aimed at connecting Greater Noida's Bodaki industrial area with Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi. Prior to this, both the players were working only on High-Speed Metro project between Greater Noida and Delhi's IGI to cut travel time, but with the latest initiative both have decided to prepare DPR of twin projects, said Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Greater Noida authority, Deepak Agarwal, adding that the DMICDC took this decision in its board-meeting held in Greater Noida recently.
