    Kerala cruises ahead with twin road projects

    Twin Road Projects in Kerala
    In order to build top class road network in the rural belt of the state, Public Works Department (National Highway Division) is all set to take up two road projects under the Central Road Fund (CRF) that are currently in the contract award stage. The project included 12 km stretch of the Thalassery-Mahe bypass and tender works were already completed in respect of other projects for developing 18.5 km long Oduvallithattu-Naduvil-Kudiyanmala entailing an investment worth Rs. 26.8-cr and Rs. 27-cr respectively. Construction work of both the roads under the CRF is being implemented by the PWD NH Division, Executive Engineer, P.K. Mini said, adding that while contract of one of the road development projects has been awarded, the other will be awarded very shortly.
