    In a major boost to the state's real estate sector, real estate building majors DLF, Jindal Realty and Indiabulls have committed to invest a stggering sum worth Rs 46,800-cr in multiple projects across the state. The state secure this commitment at the Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit held in Gurgaon recently where Jindal Realty, the realty arm of OP Jindal Group, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the state to invest Rs. 1,800-cr in developing four projects in Sonepat and Kurukshetra, Indiabulls committed Rs 25,000-cr in the next seven years. Similarly, DLF's vice chairman Rajiv Singh also reported to be agreed to invest over Rs 20,000-cr in the next few years. Jindal Realty is already developing projects in areas like Sonepat Global City and Kurukshetra Global City and that other four projects would be taking off in the financial year. The investment by Indiabulls Group would be by way of direct lending through home loans as well as indirect lending to the developers of various projects, particularly in the affordable housing segment, said sosurces.
