The year-on-year growth of the CE industry, during the pandemic period, has witnessed some slowdown. But with the renewed thrust on infrastructure development, the industry has managed the crisis to emerge stronger in the spirit of ‘Building India’s Tomorrow.’ The Government of India has prioritised Infrastructure development and Budget 2022-23 reaffirms the Government’s commitment to the country’s economic development. The CE Industry is a National Building Industry and at Torsa we work with the same sentiments and professionalism.
We are developing Smart series of machines, which are highly robust, productive and reduce the operating cost of the owners due to their efficiency and high productivity.
Smart Crushers for smart operation
Introduced this year, Torsa’s Smart IVX series of crushers of 150-200 tph have a very compact footprint with a combination of jaw-cone and screen mounted on a skid mounted platform. The modular design of the skid mounted plant enables ease of transportation on a flatbed trailer, occupying almost 40% less space, plus, it will require very little civil work during its installation.
Our smart solutions are designed to make users’ life easier. Torsa Smart IVX consumes lesser steel, lesser concrete, and will keep the operational & management team of the user updated at all times on its performance. It is the answer to better performance, lesser maintenance, lesser space for installation, optimum power and diesel consumption, and it minimises plant breakdowns with the smart triggers.
We are targeting commercial quarry owners and road contractors for the Smart series of machines, which are highly robust and will perform well for 15 to 20 years. They will also reduce the operating cost of the owners due to their efficiency and high productivity.
Advancement in technology
Over the years, with the technology advancements, it has become convenient for the plant owners to have plant operation and maintenance data on their fingertips. IoT, Big Data, Machine Learning and AI have come of age and are helping both the manufacturers and the users in tracking various aspects of plant operation, maintenance, and in getting real time information on their fingertips.
The Smart Series of crushers (as the name suggests), is supported by telematics, which will facilitate higher plant availability due to timely alerts on maintenance. The IoT-enabled plant will gather data on various aspects of production, give information on idle times, the capacity on which the plant is running, operating loads, running hours, etc – all of which will help the plant owner to optimize production and plant uptime.
Spares & Services App for timely maintenance
The company has developed an App for its entire range of spare parts and services, through which equipment owners can order the parts. This App has all available spare parts depicted pictorially. Every customer will be mapped with his Torsa equipment and will be entitled to request for instant quotes for spare parts and services and can complete the purchase from his smartphone. The App gives the operator as well as the business owner data in greater detail, keeping them updated with the production and maintenance schedules of the plant at all times.
Torsa has a training module for its operators and we always insist on the Clients to send in their operators for the trainings so that all are on the same page and there are no operational difficulties that the operator or the customer faces in adapting to the new technologies that are applied on the machines.
