Neeraj Shah, Kaushik Engineering
Our Kaushik Cesan plants have a modular design which enables installation and commissioning within 10-12 days only and they can function safely even in high seismic zones.
Neeraj Shah, Director

We will be diversifying our product portfolio and starting production of higher capacity asphalt batch mix plants at our new production facility at Sanand in Ahmedabad.
We are currently widening our product range and expanding market presence. We have started production of 250 tph asphalt batch mix plants, which will be targeted for use by contractors working on long stretches of national highways, expressways, and other infrastructure transportation projects.

These high-capacity plantswill greatly assist in scaling up operations of the contractors. We are also looking at demand from the upcoming airport runway construction projects and also from airports undergoing capacity expansion. We are confident that our plants will deliver the rated output and availability for timely project completions.

Our JV with Cesan of Turkey will help us meet demand of plants as high as 450 tph capacity.
We are manufacturing Kaushik Cesan plants in capacities of 80-100-120-160-200 tph. All our high, medium, and low capacity plants, are based on European designs, and have tube sections for higher structural rigidity as against the angles or channel-based supporting structures, which are highly vulnerable for use in seismic zones. On the other hand, our plants’ structural robustness can withstand thevibrations during operations at site, and they can function safely even in areas that experience earthquakes of 6.2 on the Richter scale.

The European design burners from Cesan have dual servo motors (unlike the single servo motor being offered by other brands) for maintaining the right proportion of air flow to fuel ratio for delivering the right level of combustion – the reason why our plants do not emit black smoke during operations.

Our burners’ components are sourced from Cesan Europe and assembled and fabricated at our Sanand facility. They have an automated air flow control through a single nozzle - a technology available only in premium European asphalt batch mix plants. The superior quality fuel burners deliver the right combustion level, while preventing heat loss, and delivering the rated output.

All our plants have been upgraded with the new SCADA software for higher availability and safety in operations.
SCADA is enabling remote operation of plants by operators and owners can also derive data on the performance of the plants. Our RAP-enabled plants are highly flexible which means that they can work on various fuel types and additives. We have made a provision for waste plastic attachment in the plants for higher operational flexibility.

Our new solution for asphalt road construction is the bitumen decanter which helps store bitumen for long durations.
Thebitumen decanter – a new product being produced by us, will enable direct heating and emptying the bitumen from the barrel, and storing it for further use. There will be minimal loss during emptying the bitumen barrel. The heating and storage solution is ideal for road construction projects in remote locations in the North-East and inJ&K since the bitumen can be stored for a longer duration and ongoing projects will not be affected in case of disruption in supply of bitumen.

Bitumen is obtained in a semi-liquid form in barrels. If kept for long outside, it tends to solidify. The bitumen decanter solution, which works on a hydraulic mechanism, can beat the drum from one end and release it from the other, after completely emptying it.

We are offering these bitumen decanters in capacities of 3-8 tons/hr. The product will be marketed as a packaged unit with the Kaushik Cesan asphalt batch mix plants and also as a standalone product to contractors.
