Suhail Shaikh, CMD, MYCRANE India
“We recognise that the crane industry is a people’s business and we welcome those who share our vision of a digital future to join us as a partner, so we can benefit from the digitalization of the industry together,” says Suhail Shaikh, CMD, MYCRANE India.

MYCRANE is a global online platform that simplifies the process of crane rental procurement, allowing users to submit details of their lifting requirements and then receive personalised quotes from a range of registered crane providers.

MYCRANE customers can simply and quickly request a crawler, mobile or tower crane, without having to rely on manual processes, such as calling suppliers or making multiple offline requests. Boom trucks, crane manipulators / crane arms, man lifts, mini cranes, cherry pickers, aerial platforms, and hydraulic gantry systems are also available. The platform offers cranes with a capacity of 100 kgs to 750 tons.

The service, accessed at www.my-crane.com and operated in countries around the world (including India) by a network of local franchisees, is supported by MYCRANE’s head office in Dubai.

A milestone in MYCRANE’s global expansion was achieved with the launch of its operation in the USA in December 2022. Houston-based Scott Wilkes has been appointed as Director of Business Development, reporting directly to the senior management team in the UAE.

Drawing on the management team’s experience in the industry, the innovative MYCRANE platform has been carefully designed to ensure ease of use, and that the quotes generated are directly comparable. Registration is free for both users and equipment rental companies.

Other MYCRANE services include a free crane Selector tool to help identify the right crane for lifting, advice on engineering, project management and support, and an online Marketplace where users can buy and sell new and used lifting equipment.

Invitation to Agents
The MYCRANE India team is currently inviting applications to “MYCRANE Agents” – a new, flexible partnership programme for well-connected independent sales professionals who can contribute to MYCRANE’s success. It is inviting independent professionals who have customer connections, such as those working in construction, oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, mining and other industries where cranes are being used, to help market MYCRANE’s services and products to their professional network, on mutually-beneficial terms.

Free MYCRANE Inspections App
Downloaded via the Apple or Android stores, the free MYCRANE Inspections App helps prevent fraud and reduces risk by digitalising the crane rental inspection process. The App, available in more than 35 languages, makes use of Artificial Intelligence to verify data such as location of the crane and the authenticity of registration documents.

By following push notifications from the App, images of the crane can be uploaded, along with key data about the equipment. Only live image and video recording can be accepted, while in-app fraud detection and recognition is another feature of the App.

According to MYCRANE, the new App is particularly useful where clients impose the condition and maximum age of equipment, or where clients have specific requirements around inspection. It can be used by anybody with access to a smart phone and does not require specialist knowledge. Customers can make use of the Inspections App to review the condition of the equipment, prior to placing an order.

At the point of registering on MYCRANE, crane owners can use the Inspections App to create their fleet listings. Those who have verified the status and condition of their fleet will be highlighted to customers of MYCRANE’s crane rental tool, as a further indication of quality. In one click, crane rental providers will be able to sell their verified equipment, with all supporting images in place, on the MYCRANE Marketplace.
