Mr. Ramesh, Managing Director, Parijatha Machinery.
What is your view on the growth of the CE industry in the years ahead?
India is among the fastest growing economies in the world. Rapid industrialization has led to the overall development of the country’s economy and the spending power of the masses.
Today, the construction market contributes nearly 8-9 percent to India’s GDP. Projects like Smart Cities, Amrut, Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM), Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme for Small & Medium Towns (UIDSSMT), North Eastern Region Urban Development Program (NERUDP), National Urban Information System (NUIS) etc., have helped the Construction Equipment Industries to gain projects in large scales, resulting in mechanization and increased demand for construction equipment.
Is the CE sector fully geared to usher in GST from April 2017? How do you see the impact of it on the industry?
GST would bring in significant change in doing business in India. Advocacy for best practices will lead to more compliance and banking systems.
The huge influx of public money into various banks all over the country will give an additional boost to lending and, in turn, the equipment industry as a whole.
The market is maturing from basic to more sophisticated equipment. What technical improvisations are you making in your existing products?
At Parijatha, Innovation never stops. It has always been introducing innovative machinery and technology to cater to the Indian market and many countries all over the world.
We have always been rising to the challenge of meeting customers’ increased expectations and need for better automation to improve quality and increase productivity with lesser manpower.
Parijatha has now launched Four Station Paving/ Slab Press APM-416 ED, Block Master-1, Linear Wet Press making it possible to achieve higher production of Concrete Paving Blocks, Slabs, Tiles and other related products.
Strong after-sales service and spare parts availability are key selling points. How is your company strengthening its positions, in these areas?

Parijatha Machinery is committed to provide the best after-sales services with in-time supply of spare parts. Ensuring that the machinery is perfectly installed, trials are demonstrated at the customer site making it easier for the customer to understand the working of the machine. Parijatha Machinery has fully trained technicians, designers, and installers who give valuable feedback which is passed onto the customer.
What will be the company’s focus during its participation at bauma Conexpo India 2016?
Parijatha Machinery will focus primarily on automation and handling which is the need of the hour.
Apart from the four station Rotary press, Parijatha has developed a fully automatic finishing and coating line, which increases the appearance and look of the product, besides bringing long lasting finish and gloss.
What products and services will be displayed at the show? Kindly highlight the USPs of one of your newly introduced products?
