Component durability is a key area of focus in Bobcat products.
Bobcat compact equipment are designed for best in class performance while maintaining maximum benefits in terms of operating cost. Fuel efficiency is the key strength of our products, which makes them low operating cost equipment. Engine, hydraulics and structural areas are robustly built to ensure maximum performance by using minimum prime mover power.
Component durability is also a key area of focus in Bobcat products that ensures minimum downtime and repair of equipment to save time and cost.
We have now introduced an advanced way of operating through smartphone control.
Effective use of modem technology can enhance equipment capability, safety and versatility. Bobcat has developed many advanced technologies including remote operation. After introducing Remote Control through handheld consoles, we have now introduced an advanced way of operating through smartphone control. These features enable the compact equipment to work in hard-to-reach area and in jobsite conditions that are difficult for human labour.
We have also introduced telematics in certain developed markets. Called “Connected Machine,” they offer remote access to information on the equipment such as location, machine health, performance, fuel levels, operator performance, and more. Computerised machine diagnostics for trouble shooting and checking machine parameters are another aspect of digitisation in the machines. These technologies help in increasing overall productivity by reducing the efforts of the operators and support the machines on the field.

Doosan Bobcat India is well prepared to meet BS4 emission regulations.
In line with India’s emission norms change proposed from BS3 to BS4 in 2020, we are preparing for upgradation of our existing Skid Steers and Backhoe Loaders to BS4 versions with added features and benefits.
Globally, Doosan Bobcat is a leading supplier for compact equipment in various markets including high emission compliance countries. Hence, technology to meet changing emission requirements are already developed and available with us and we would be able to offer them as need arises. Doosan Bobcat India welcomes the improved emission regulations and is well prepared to meet regulation requirements.
We have a tie up with major NBFCs for offering lowest interest rate to customers and 30 to 60 days credit.
We have entered into a tie up with all major NBFCs for offering lowest interest rate to customer and a period of 30 to 60 days to customers for their first EMI. With these two benefits, customers’ ROI would definitely improve in these challenging times.
We are also helping customers get work through contractors to engage their machines all the time, so that the customers earn a consistent income and pay their loans. Some of our dealers are in the rental business, so if a customer wants to sell his machine, we will refer the customer to these dealers for buy back or trade for a new machine.

For the long-term, India remains one of the high growth potential markets.
It is true that right now there is a bit of lull in the construction equipment industry. But we are seeing that the Government is taking some measures to make sure that pending payments are released to contractors who have completed projects that are not in any kind of disputes. So, we are confident that the slowdown is temporary.
India is expected to become a US $5 Trillion economy in the next 5 years. We foresee growth continuing in the development of infrastructure, processing industries, steel industry, agriculture, rural development, housing for all, connectivity in telecommunication, water and pipeline connectivity. In next 5 years, with increase in urbanization and labor wages, more mechanization will come into play, which will boost the Compact Equipment demand in various application areas.

We see India as an opportunity to create an export hub.
India is not only a developing market but also has the critical mass which is quite attractive for us to build from. From a global perspective, we are seeing India developing into a manufacturing economy with its capabilities continuously improving and the export potential increasing. So, we see India as an opportunity to create an export hub to cater to SAARC, South East Asia initially and then to the Middle East, Africa and South America.
