"Apollo group has been manufacturing advanced road construction equipment for the past three decades and its promoter now diversified into concrete mixing and transporting equipment segment in the name of Apollo Infratech Pvt. Ltd. The company has huge expansion plan for the coming years and has chalked out plans to reach a turnover of Rs. 500 crores by 2015,” says Mr. Mitul A. Patel, Managing Director, Apollo Infratech in a recent interview with S.A.Faridi."

How do you view the current technological status of the Indian concrete construction equipment sector in view of the technological development taking place in the international market? What sort of role ApolloInfratech is playing to upgrade the status of the domestic industry with its technological breakthroughto serve and cater to the requirements of the domestic construction and concrete sector?
Looking at the global scenario, Apollo Infratech has first introduced and then incorporated planetary mixers for its smaller capacity plants in India with inline bin technology. These mixers are being extensively used in Europe, American countries, and in the Middle East region. Not just this, these mixers have also been recommended and are extensively being used in pre-cast applications. We normally use exclusive planetary mixers and twin shaft mixers, which have been equipped with latest technologies with a view to provide homogeneous mixing of aggregates. Apollo assures that all its finished products are not just equal but also match the latest global technology.

What are your comments about the evolution of the company, its manufacturing facilities, and their locations?
Apollo Infratech has been a source of natural diversification for its promoters in the road construction equipment manufacturing segment for the past three decades. Its sprawling state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, stretching across 42,000 square metres in the lush green environment, is located on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana state highway near the global industrial hub in Ahmedabad. The facility has been equipped with most modern and sophisticated gadgets to manufacture high class and quality concrete construction equipment matching world standard. Our most modern and talented workforce with active cooperation built a group which in turn builds Apollo Infratech. Our philosophies are nothing but integrity, high ethical standard, technology excellence, stringent quality, reliability, and commitment to customers.

Likewise, the batching plant range includes from 20cu.m/hr to 120cu.m/hr and our transit mixer range comprises 2, 4, 6 & 8 cu.m, concrete pump with potential of 40cu.m/hr output. In 30 cu.m/hr Concrete Batching Plant we give Inline Bin Feeder and Planetary Mixer, which is an Italian technology, against the Boom Scraper and Pan Mixer what Competitors offer in the Market. While in Higher capacity i.e 45, 60, 90 and 120 cu.m/hr Concrete Batching plant wegive Twin Shaft Mixer against the Single Shaft what Competitors offer in the Market. In the Concrete Pump we are the only manufacturer to give both high Pressure and low Pressure pumping in Gate valve design. Our Pump can pump as high as 75 mtrs vertical and 380 mtr horizontal. All our products are cost effective, user-friendly and are easy to maintain.
