What will be the company’s focus during its participation at bauma Conexpo India 2016?

TIL Limited is a leading provider of road construction and material handling solutions in India, representing global technology leaders. This year at BAUMA, with ASTEC Industries as co-exhibitor, TIL plans to leverage BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016 as an ideal platform to showcase the ASTEC-TIL product range and the new range of Truck Cranes from TIL, which are loaded with many advanced and superior features. This will also be a fantastic opportunity for our product and service experts to engage in close interactions with visitors – our existing as well as potential customers, suppliers and business associates

What products and services will be launched / displayed at the show?

On display at our booth – H2.L42 – will be a scale-model of the ASTEC Voyager 120 – a highly compact and portable HMAP – unique in its class for its ability to run up to 30% RAP, backed by TIL’s unmatched service support. The ASTEC Voyager 120 is built around a counter-flow drum featuring ASTEC v-flights, which provide greater uniformity of the aggregate veil during the drying process, resulting in better heat transfer, reduced fuel usage and increased productivity.

Our focus will also be on the new range of Truck Cranes from TIL – the TMS 855, TM 825 and many more that would follow. With long telescopic booms for maximum reach and optimum lifting performance, these new cranes come equipped with an array of innovative features – load moment indicator, motion cut-off system and pendant limit switch for greater safety | hydraulic relief valves to protect pumps and structures from excessive pressure | ergonomically designed operator cab for superior comfort and performance | greater mobility, and many more.

Higher uptime, low operating cost, strong after-sales service, and spare parts availability have become key selling points. How is your company strengthening its position in these areas?

At TIL, it is our primary target to ensure higher ROI for our customers and enhance their overall profitability. We have a pan-India spread of dedicated and skilled service engineers, stationed close to customer sites for better ease of access and faster response time. We have three major stocking points for spare parts, at Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai. We also maintain inventories of fast moving parts at key locations and plan to open up many more stocking points in the coming months. TIL’s integrated repertoire of solutions that includes unmatched after sales service - is aimed at being extremely customer focused.

What is your view on the growth of the CE industry in India?

The outlook for the construction equipment industry is positive. NHAI plans to invest around USD 250 billion in road projects over the next 5 years. Power sector is looking at an investment potential of over USD 200 billion in the same period. In addition with the ambitious Sagarmala project, many new opportunities are expected to open up soon. Furthermore, given the ambitious expansion plans of the Indian Railways, with an envisaged investment of USD 140 billion over a 5-year horizon, that is an another area that should be worth exploring.
