Mahindra Backhoe Loader Range

Mahindra Construction Equipment announced the expansion of its range of backhoe loaders with the launch of its first higher horse power variant – SX90 under its EarthMaster series, along with SXL and DrillX. The new SX 90 comes with an advanced joystick operation, and ensures higher productivity with quick excavation cycle time and higher digging force and loading capability. It is powered by a 90 HP 4915-IA-CEV engine developed by Mahindra. The robust one-piece structure, extended banana boom and longer loader arm give the SX90 an advantage over its counterparts. With a big spacious cabin that allows easy access and new ergonomically designed cluster for better accessibility, it provides enhanced operator comfort.

Vinod Sahay, CEO, Truck and Bus Division and Construction Equipment Division, said, “In line with Mahindra’s vision to provide comprehensive range of products and services for our customers, we have entered into the higher horse power backhoe loader segment with the launch of Mahindra EarthMaster SX90. This product has been designed and developed after an in-depth understanding of the needs of the contractor fraternity to help them break free from dated technology and improve productivity. A truly versatile solution, it provides an opportunity for maximum equipment utilization and delivers high quality output, and thereby, increased return on investments.”

Mr. Sachin Nijhawan, VP & Business Head, Mahindra Construction Equipment said, “The SX90 is a rugged and versatile backhoe which is set to deliver excellent output at the least cost of operations. It is most suitable for construction, demolition, loading and excavation operations, among others, and its various attachments can be used for multiple applications.”

The product comes with a one-year unlimited hours warranty, eliminating customers anxiety over expensive repairs with Mahindra’s engineering and manufacturing capability, backed by stringent testing and use of the best components. Mahindra’s EarthMaster range has undergone rigorous testing in the harshest of terrains and for the toughest of applications. It has been validated on all performance, safety, and reliability parameters and is backed by a strong dealer sales and service network covering 400 districts.

Affirms Mr. Nijhawahan, “We have added value engineering in our backhoe loaders to optimize their performance. Our 79 hp backhoe loader comes with more than 10 unique attachments including rammer, hydraulic rock breaker and auger attachments among others. We will be looking to position our backhoe loaders with a complete set of attachments, and will also add more attachments to our Earthmaster backhoe loaders so that they can be used in varied applications. We are also carrying out improvisations in the hydraulics and transmissions for increasing their output in terms of loading.”

Also, on display was the standard variant VX which comes with joystick operation, SXL – the front-end loader with extended arm, and the new concept DrillX – a unique solution for piling application, along with a host of attachments which make the equipment very versatile as well.

The recently launched Mahindra RoadMaster G75 got a lot of traction with the visitors at EXCON 2017.
