Hyundai’s SMART technological prowess

Hyundai Construction Equipment India (P) Ltd, the number 2 domestic supplier of excavators in the country, showcased its technological prowess with the latest SMART Series of excavators. SMART, an acronym for Superior performance, low Maintenance, Analytical capabilities, enhanced Reliability, and advanced Technology, is a series of machines developed to meet customer needs & preferences in the Indian market. They have many value-added features such as fuel saving kit, improved operator comfort, and reinforcement of high stress areas to enhance operational efficiency and profitability of the customers.

Hyundai also launched 3 new excavators for the Indian market: the R480 LC-9S is a fuel-efficient, reliable and safe solution for OB removal in coal mines. This 9-series global offering from Hyundai will ensure operational efficiency and profitability for mining contractors. R140 W-9S, 14-ton class wheeled excavator provides the right solution for concrete laying while making concrete roads. R140 L SMART is a new product with a design based on market research and customer feedback. Features include a 4-cylinder engine from Cummins, sleek design, low cowl height for all-around visibility, and wider track shoes for more stability in tough jobs. It is equipped with a remote management system Hi-Mate, an app-based technology that enables customers to access machine control from a hand-held device, and make informed decisions to improve operational efficiency.
