At bauma Conexpo India, Terex India displayed its new FM 120 Conexus Wash Plant with water recovery system, which was launched this year. Its unique features include an automated control system and a small plant footprint. It provides washed, dewatered and well-graded sand of both Concrete and Plaster sand grade.

"This machine is a testimony of our commitment to adding value to our customers by offering solutions that serve their needs," said Jaideep Shekhar, MD, TEREX Materials Processing India, ”It is designed to counter all problems related to crusher dump issues like oversize, moisture, ultrafine and consolidation. The final product obtained from the plant is superior in terms of size, shape, cleanliness and texture that enhances the workability of concrete and decreases post concrete defects. To cater to the fast growing construction industry and depleting river sand deposits, manufactured sand is a better and sustainable option and Terex has been innovating continuously to reduce overall cost of production and add value to our customers’ enterprise by ensuring quality product and timely supply.”

The company incorporates latest technologies across all domains of Crushing, Screening, Washing and Material Handling. "Terex provides one-stop solutions to all the sand manufacturing needs from Crushing to Screening, Washing and Stockpiling. The sand manufacturing market is expected to grow further with more states banning use of river sand. The only option is to use manufactured sand for building & Infrastructure construction. With the start of numerous infrastructure projects like the Bharatmala, Sagarmala, Railway and Airport expansion, there will be a huge demand for Crushers & Screens. Our products are proven for handling the toughest applications and are operating in extreme conditions with the most difficult minerals in the mining industry," added Shekhar.

Also on display was the company’s popular fine cone with a modular structure - MTC 1000 Autosand®, which is amongst the most efficient machines to produce manufactured sand with its low power consumption and low ultrafine generation per ton, thus, reducing the slurry management cost. This machine has a large feed intake capacity up to 63mm and higher production capacity compared to the popular tertiary machines. Its longer parallel crushing zone results in higher reduction and better shaped aggregates.

Terex has developed a comprehensive range of robust, reliable and efficient bulk material handling and stockpiling solutions. Each of its conveying products provide mobility and flexibility in a wide range of free-flowing bulk material applications, including aggregates, ores, coal, woodchips, pellets, fertilizers, grains and truck loading. Its TC 80 Track Conveyor is a unique product in the Indian market and has been designed for moving or stockpiling material efficiently and productively whilst minimizing operator and other associated onsite costs.

According to Shekhar, the Powerscreen Warrior 1200 is the most compact 12 ft scalping screen in the market today. “Building on the success of the Warrior 600, the Warrior 1200 boasts excellent service access, high capacity and low cost of ownership. With a multipurpose heavy-duty incline two deck screen, the Warrior 1200 is capable of stockpiling, and scalping before and after crushing units, or as a standalone unit. This equipment is capable of handling even large boulders up to 300 mm, thus making it the most robust and versatile equipment in the sector."
