The 21CJ290, with Flat-Top design, is one of the most successful models from Comansa Jie. The brilliant concept of Flat-Top design, enabled different capacity tower cranes to be erected using a standard system of modules, opened up a degree of flexibility not available previously. The Indian construction companies are showing large interest in this model, after they have been used successfully on the world's highest cooling tower in India.

  • Long life of structure, no pendant lines, no alternative stresses in jib or counter-jib structure
  • Automatic reeving change between 2 fall and 4 fall wire rope
  • Only need one more mast section, can allow two tower crane jib section to overlap easily
  • Components can be erected directly from truck to crane; fast, simple and safe erection, lower cost
  • Well-tried modular design, pin-joint system, more flexibility in application, save cost for purchasing repeated components, easy and cheap maintenance
  • Mast section are consisted of 4 uniform detachable panels, weight of crane are rested on the corner angles of the mast, rather than on the pins, this ensure long-life in addition to fast and safe installation
  • Excellent choice for narrow sites as no need to pre-assembly the whole jib on the ground
  • All mechanical structure can be combined in truck or container to make full use of space & load, considerably reducing transport costs

Currently, there are seven 21CJ290s working on energy plants across the country as well as the two units at Kalisindh, BGR Energy System has another couple of 21CJ290 18t at the Marwa plant (2 x 500 Mw), while Indian engineering giant Larsen & Toubro is also using two units at Rajpura plant (2 x 700 Mw) and another in the construction of the Talwandi Sabo plant (3 x 600 Mw). Comansa Jie's engineering and after sales teams, with the support of its Indian agent ECEL, supervised the erection and commissioning of the cranes in India.
