Wacker Neuson Establishes Affiliate in India

Wacker Neuson, a leading global manufacturer of light and compact equipment, has announced that it is expanding operations in India. Group affiliate Wacker Neuson Equipment Private Ltd., based in Bangalore, is set to market Wacker Neuson’s comprehensive product and service offering through several branch offices spread throughout the country.

"Due to increased demand for our products, we have decided to strengthen our presence in India by establishing a stronger sales network. This move will enable us to better meet the needs of our dealers and customers and deliver comprehensive repair and maintenance services," said Senarat Jayasekera, affiliate manager of Wacker Neuson Equipment Private Ltd.

Wacker Neuson’s light equipment portfolio covers over 250 product groups, comprising mainly walk-behind machinery weighing up to three tons. This portfolio already enjoys considerable success on the Indian market. It includes concrete technology products such as internal and external vibrators, converters and trowels. In addition, Wacker has been a major driving force behind soil and asphalt compaction innovations for over 70 years. Today, this segment extends from rammers and vibratory plates through coupled compactors to rollers. On the demolition front, Wacker Neuson’s offering spans powerful, robust hammers, cut-off saws and floor saws. Due to their power and user-friendly designs, these demolition products allow customers to tackle concrete, natural stone, brickwork and asphalt with equal success. The company also offers light towers to the Indian market. These towers enable construction work to continue at night.
