Shot Blasting Machine for Silencers

Surface Finishing Equipment Co. has manufactured highly specialized Shot Blasting Machine for finishing of automobile Silencers in different sizes. The surface finish requirement of Silencer is very critical. As such special care is required while Shot Blasting the Silencer, so that uniform and desired surface profile is obtained. In this machine, the Silencers are loaded in special hanger mounted on motorized trolley. The motorized trolley carrying these Hangers moves into Blast Cabinet which is provided with 3 to 4 Blast Wheel Stations strategically positioned at pre-determined decaling angle.

The Media is blasted at set velocity uniformly over Silencers through Blast Wheel having special Control Cage features. The Hanger rotates in clockwise and anti-clockwise for thorough surface finishing of Silencers at desired RA value. After pre-set time, the blasting operation is stopped and door are opened and trolley moves out. The next loaded trolley enters the Blast Chamber and the sequence of operation is repeated. The Machine is provided with heavy duty continuously operating special Dust Collector conforming to CBPC norms. A suitable Control Panel with PLC features is provided with the machine.
