MOBA' Latest Automation Systems
This year MOBA is launching two of its latest automation systems. MDM-100, cost effective drill depth measurement system for drilling machine and WEIGHLOADER – weighing system for wheel loaders in addition to the recently launched machine control system for excavators, GS-506 motor grader leveling system for earthmoving and the Big Sonic-Ski® for sensor pavers. Together with the MOBA-matic controller, the Big Sonic-Ski, that eliminates the painstaking string line method, is the most flexible leveling system for sensor pavers. Also on display will be the new HMI concept for the OEMs who wish to upgrade their operating panels. These systems shall be on display at IMME 2012 - Kolkata, from 5th -8th December. MOBA MDM-100: More efficiency by increasing working speed, reducing cost and improving quality
A recent development by MOBA has completely changed the perception of possible automation on drilling machines and drilling rigs. MOBA has come up with a low cost Drill Depth Control System, MDM-100.
WEIGHLOADER – fully automatic dynamic weighing system for wheel loadersThis new development is backed up by market research and feedbacks from users, focusing the mining industry which demands for a cost effective solution for such applications. With fewer components it has become possible for quick and easy installations. MDM-100 is a derivative of the high end system – MDS 2000, for Drilling Machines which is well acclaimed by renowned OEMs.
On the basis of our expertise and knowhow of the drilling process we could enhance the system not only with the indication of the real time drill depth but also with controlling the drilling process and automatically stop the operation at a preset drilling depth.
Due to its low cost, compact and modular architecture we expect OEMs shall consider this to be a standard fitment to achieve better efficiency for the drilling process.
Precise drill depth control helps achieving better productivity, fuel efficiency by reducing active drill duration.
With a rising demand for accurate first time loading WEIGHLOADER has proven its performance in mines and wagon loading applications. Due to heavy penalties for overloading and loss in freight charges in cases of underloading there has been a growing acceptance for this system. With its advanced graphic display, proven sensor technology and user friendly interface it has become easy for the operators to operate the system while achieving accurate loading at the first instance. While the operator is used to operate the machine at a quick pace, the system takes the weight snapshot and adds it up automatically such that the working time is not at all compromized.

Better Leveling - Smooth Roads
The Big Sonic-Ski® with its unique feature which helps eliminating the use of string line while laying the BC layers where smoothening of the road is taken care over road waves, which make the top surface super fine. The innovating measuring method with five ultrasonic sensors and its reliability make the Sonic-Ski together with the MOBA-matic controller a state of the art system for leveling control. With the MOBA Big Sonic-Ski® non-contact averaging system, made using three such Sonic-Ski® over a length of 13 meters the paver produces the smoothest road surface by averaging out irregularities over long distance and thus improves the mat quality even when the reference is less than perfect. Resurfacing of the roads could not be this easy, even with on-going traffic as the Big Sonic-Ski does not require string line.
