Debtronics showcases concrete mixing control panels

“We are very focussed on data handling and data management for our panels that include batch mixing control panels, flyash bricks etc as well as reversable machine control panels. Data has become very important now as even after 20 years you can see what ratio of ingredients / recipe was used in the construction of say, a bridge. This information can be retrieved from the data on the server, and necessary changes / upgrades can be made. One can also analyse and evaluate the structure in case of any damage during construction,” he added.

The control panels, including the hardware and software, are manufactured in-house in the company’s factory in Jadavpur in Kolkata where it is making more than 500 units per year of different kinds of control panels. The machines can last for 4-5 years and can store data for over 20 years. The company is also providing apps for viewing information through the smartphone of the user from anywhere in the world.

“We train the buyers’ personnel and we can do trouble shooting from our office using the internet for guiding the user. If maintained well, our control panels can be used for more than 10 years as they IP 65 which means that they are dust and waterproof and kept in an operating closure during cosntructio9n work. The usp of our panel is that there is minimum tolerance. The mixing ratio is precise, batch after batch, and the result is immediate, while manual mixing takes 7 to14 to 28 days to get the right mixing ratio for every batch. Big construction companies are looking for such products as they want quality, speed and safety during construction,” informed Chakraborty.

AI is emerging as machines are running for 12 to 20 hours and giving the same quality without any chances of error, and complete safety. Our control panels range from Rs. 40,000 to almost 4 lakhs. Though the initial cost would be high, one can recover the investment within 6 months to a year. Debtronics is undertaking R&D constantly and keeps launching new products at tradeshows like Excon, bauma and others.

The company’s service support is done directly as they deal only with the OEMs from whom it takes feedback to upgrade and customise its products. It is currently expanding its facilities to cater to different geographic zones of India and for exports to Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh, and plans to open an office in Delhi or Gurgaon to cater to customers in north India.
