Spartan Multi-functional Hoist for High-rise Construction

Monitoring productivity, speed and cost saving till the last micro level means higher profit margins for the developer. This has drastically changed the buying behavior and needs of our esteemed clients.
They need hoists which carry more material, more people, at faster speed and to greater heights. They want smarter machines with safety systems, which help reduce dependency on operator for upkeep of machine or most importantly, the safety of the machine, passenger, and material.

In spite of slow recovery signs of construction industry, Spartan has grown over previous year, primarily riding on innovation and launch of newer products. 2014-15 was the year when Spartan expanded the passenger and multi-functional hoist portfolio. Last year, we launched 6 products in passenger hoist segment and added 1 more product in our much-in-demand multi-functional hoist portfolio.
The focus was to have a product basket that can cater to all segments of customers belonging to any city. North continues to be our strength but most importantly, newer and developing construction market has appreciated our hoist portfolio.
Now with new financial year 2015 -16, Spartan is again ready with array of products specially focused upon the high rise buildings.
The new and upgraded first of its kind 2 ton passenger hoist is in pipeline for launch. Standard machine can go upto 150 meters height. This can be further extended upto 350 meters and above, with little or no modification. Spartan is revamping its 1 ton, 1.2 ton and 1.5 ton passenger hoist portfolio.
The feather in the cap is multi-functional hoist which is truly a success story for Spartan which has grown more than double digits. Its unique ability to carry construction material, passenger and rebar is main source of profitability and differentiation.
Looking at the high rise projects, Spartan is now offering speed of 30, 54, or 60 meter per min. hoist. The wind behaves differently at these heights so all the Spartan designs are tested for wind loads at these heights in advanced FEA software meant especially for wind loads.
Humidity at these heights, specially in cities like Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata, varies drastically thus corrosion of metal becomes a continuous fight. So, a special powder coating process has been developed for larger components and panels.
Learning from the best-in-class and collaborating directly with the OEM's like NORD, Schneider, Polycab etc., electrical safety and reliability has been taken all together to the next level.
Special Human Interface display (HMI display) indicates the faults in the machine, supports the operator in faster root cause analysis, and operates the machine with highest level of safety.
Specially designed mast structure has highest power to weight ratio which is a crucial factor needed for high rise buildings. It means the mast has higher load carrying capacity with less self weight. 6 module rack and pinion combination ensures that the travel is smooth and jerk free. This also contributes hugely in reduction of wear and tear, further reducing the maintenance cost of the machine.
Technology, when meets with passion, helps to achieve higher heights.
