Spartan Engineering Industries, which was founded in 1971, forayed into the field of manufacturing construction equipment in the year 2005. Today, the Mumbai-based company is seen as a leading Indian MNC in the CE Industry. It is now an ISO 9001 2015 certified manufacturer and supplier of high-quality construction equipment like bar bending machines, bar cutting machines, passenger and material hoists, multi-functional material hoists, rope suspended platforms and lift shafts, multi-functional mini lifts, firemen evacuation lifts, spiral bending machines, reversible mixers, and concrete placer booms.

We are exporting our products to 10 countries, and have over 7000 machines on site every year, supported by 150 engineers and technicians. We are the trusted brand of over 4000 satisfied customers, and have won 20 national and international awards.


Operational Excellence in Production
Spartan boasts of a state-of–the-art manufacturing facility at Atgaon on the Mumbai-Nashik highway. It is fully equipped with world-class equipment for the production of construction equipment and fire evacuation lifts, besides fabrication, production, assembly, testing, R&D, design & development, spares management, and dispatch. Spread across 5 acres, the premises include a one lakh sq.ft. built-up shed and office.

At the factory, the 5S system is followed strictly and periodic internal audits are maintained. Material storage is as per the FIFO system and ABC analysis. Min-Max level is maintained for optimum inventory. Every stored component is identified by its specific location and codification for assembly, which is diligently followed by the workers.

Spartan has achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environment Management System and OSHAS 18001:2007 for Occupational Safety & Health Analysis System. It won the ‘Excellence in Operations’ award by Manufacturing Today, and the award of ‘Sarvottam Manufacturer of Rebar Cut and Bend Machines and Suspended Platform’ by BAI.


Design & Development
Spartan’s Design & Development team consists of 20 dedicated professionals with expertise in engineering design and development. The design team uses solid works for 3D solid model design, static and dynamic analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of machine components and documentation.

The Design Engineers study the structural, static and dynamic load requirement, load deflection characteristics, and the working conditions of the end-application. The entire design of the machine structure is based on FEA study by considering various loading conditions to ensure the strength, reliability, safety and lifespan of the components.

Spartan’s new Elite Aviator range: Man & Material Hoist, and Rebar
Our new premium range of Elite Aviator, single and twin cage, man and material hoist is manufactured as per CE certified standards. The product offers a high level of safety features developed by our R&D team. The cage of the hoist has comparatively less vibration due to its six-module rack. This ensures more engagement of the rack with the teeth. As the masts are of square tube, we have used flat rollers, which have a full line contact with the mast tube, thereby making the movement smoother.

Innovations in the hoists include fitment of cable trolley for cable safety and increased life. The European design safety device ensures the highest level of protection against free fall of the hoists. Limit switches, fully accessible from the cage, prevent over travel of the machine for safe operation.

A unique feature is the optional load cell assembly for overload protection, and a touchscreen interface to select floor numbers with fault indication shown on display. The single cage Elite Elevator hoists are available between 0.8 to 2.5 tons, while the twin cage hoists come between 1.5 to 2.5 tons.

We will be launching a new CE-approved premium export quality Gladiator Plus series of Bar Cutting & Bending machines, which are very robust, rugged, and safe, and will be promoting our new range of concrete boom placers in the Indian market soon. We are expanding our sales and services network to tap the export markets in a major way and are increasing our dealer network across the country.
