SANY India Kick-starts the Crawler Crane Production Line

SANY Heavy Industry India announced the inauguration of its first state of art and fully integrated Crawler Crane production line. Consul-General of PRC Mr. Niu Qingbao and Mr. Dilip Mohite Patil (MLA) were present as the chief guest for the inaugural function. Mr. Richard Deng (MD of Sany India), Mr. T.R. Badarinarayan (CEO) with all SANY's prestigious customers were also present for the function.

Located at Chakan, Pune SANY INDIA's crawler crane production plant is set up with the vision of catering to the growing needs of cranes in Indian market. "The plant has begun with the production of all popular models of Sany cranes in India. With this state-of-art plant, Sany aims to achieve higher customer delight through faster delivery, better product features & wider range of optional attachments," said Mr Zeng Zhihong, Director Sales of Sany Heavy Industry India Pvt. Ltd.

He added, "The Chakan plant will act as a substitute for import of cranes all the way from China. Earlier, the crawler cranes were to be imported from SANY China according to customer requirements. However, consequently looking at the constant growth of crane market and products receiving higher appreciation by Indian customer, SANY has taken step forward to start production of cranes at its manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune in India."

SANY China holds world record for manufacturing world's largest crawler crane i.e. SCC86000TM (3,600T) and it shows that Sany has mastered the manufacturing competence and technology to independently produce the world top crawler crane and SANY India surely will reach a new height very soon.

SANY today accounts for about 20% share of the market for Crawler.

After-sales support - SANY India has established 6 regional office and 18 service stations, recruited expert team of more than 40 persons including 11 Chinese experts for Crawler Crane. SANY has designed and acquired several service vans equipped with testing, and repairing apparatus. Sany has warehouses in different locations like Mumbai (main warehouse), Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Panvel, Nagpur, Ahmedabad etc where all the spare parts are stored which makes it easy and less time consuming for parts supply. Big warehouses in all the major cities have stock of 7000 types of spares worth over 30 crores. To ensure least downtime, SANY provides 24x7 service and parts support to its customers in India.

Under the guideline of "swift and responsible," SANY periodically carry out value-added activities, such as free machine health check-up and technical upgradation, and also provides training to all levels of people including customer operators and site supervisors. The whole system ensures that their machines have least downtime & provide maximum reliable performance.

CSR initiatives - With its commitment to provide maximum contribution to the society, Sany conducted a blood donation camp on March 10th at its factory premises and about 100 employees including management staff donated blood. Sany has also taken initiative of tree planting and donating of study materials to underprivileged school children and provided fund to educate girl child. Sany also has planned to construct a temple for the village near the manufacturing facility and donated computers to schools in rural locations.
