Haulotte adds safety features to its access equipment
Haulotte's new range of access equipment with advanced safety features that includes ACTIV SHEILD BAR in the boom lifts, to avoid entrapment for the personnel working at heights.
In its sustained quest to keep competition in abeyance from growing percolation of used equipment in the Indian AWP market, Haulotte shall continue to emphasize upon promoting newer range of equipment, dovetailed with state of the art safety features, user friendly operations and required support services at turnkey levels.
Sharing the details of the business strategy, Mr. Souma Ray, Director - Haulotte India says, "We have full range of equipment as one stop solution provider to meet the varied requirements of Indian customers across varied industry verticals. Our strategy will be to keep promoting the required solutions to the customers based on comprehensive application study involving ground conditions, heights requirements for personnel and materials."
He adds, "Since safety legislations while working at heights continues to be absent till now in India, we shall continue in our efforts growing safety awareness amongst the customers, coupled with placement of appropriate safety solutions. Our introduction of our patented option of ACTIV SHEILD BAR in the boom lifts, is with a view to avoid entrapment for the personnel working at heights.
Our newest introduction is the provision of LED lights integrated on our new HT28RTJ 28m meter Telescopic Boom is to facilitate safe loading operations of the machine at night. Furthermore, our emphasis will also be to ensure increased availability of the equipment, enabling the users to get higher rental rates and productivity. This will be ensured through maintenance support features integrated in our machines and training support from the Haulotte India team. Our "ACTIVE SCREEN" that we have introduced in our latest range of 16m/18m/20m/26m and 28m Boom lifts is an initiative towards this direction. In case of any breakdown in the machine the user can themselves identify the fault with the accurate part and its location, thus bypassing the need for our Service Team to make a site visit to rectify the fault. This is a huge plus because it saves machine downtime, expenses and loss of productivity.
Furthermore, the training support for operation and maintenance of our machines through our factory trained Engineers is another initiative. Our provision for online platforms of spare parts ordering through "EASY SPARE PARTS", "e-Technical Training" are other added initiatives towards higher product availability."
Agreeing that commercial viability remains an issue for potential AWP rental agencies in India, Mr. Ray says, "We have in place Haulotte Financial Services, which provides an option and lease of the access work platforms as well. Our product refurbishment program "HAULOTTE SECOND LIFE" also enables owners to enhance the life of a used Haulotte machine thus making operations economically viable."
