Another feather in our cap! This year, we have got an order of 62 units of 12t flat top tower cranes from BG Shirke. This is the biggest tower crane order in the history of tower cranes. With this order, we have a record supply of 158 units of tower cranes to the Pre-cast building industry in India within a span of 3-4 years.

India is coming up with a huge volume of low-cost/economic apartments in all major cities. These are being built on precast construction technology. This highly mechanized technology will complete the entire 10-20 storey buildings in all respects within a short span of 5-6 months. It is proven to be safe, long lasting and entails very fast construction. Tower cranes are playing a vital role in handling precast segments in the yard, and during erection of these segments in the building under construction.

We have customized our tower cranes as per Indian design standards to enable smooth operation for accurate placement of precast segments, and they have been very competitively priced. They have the highest safety standards such as anti-collision system and safe load indicator (SLI), due to which precast segment rejections as a result of collisions, and jerking placements are eliminated.

All our cranes are inspected at the factory by SGS, an American third-party agency, after passing through rigorous tests. SGS also conducts stage-wise inspections from raw material and welding to the final load testing, painting and galvanizing stage. This ensures the durability, accuracy and safety of the cranes. We also welcome our customers to witness all these tests before dispatch of the cranes.

All the electrical connections are of plug type for quick installation and dismantling. The mechanisms are selected from highly reputed manufacturers with IP55, VFD type (Variable frequency drive) motors to reduce power consumption by 35-40%. If the tower crane is operated with a DG set, it can save about 4 liters of diesel per hour. Normally, a tower crane operates for 20 hours a day and 26 days a month, which will save about 2080 liters of diesel per month, amounting to `1,24,800. You will be surprised to see a saving of `15,00,000 per year from diesel which was burned for no reason.
