FM Gru Cranes
Established in 1920 as a family-run company, FM Gru is situated in the largest industrial area of northern Italy. During the '50's when farming economy was converting into industrial and manufacturing economy, FM Gru was already working in the welded construction and metal structural sector: road bridges, prefabrication moulds, farming machines, pylons to convey electricity, presses and an appreciable range of fork lifts.

The crane production was started in 1963 when the company invested all its financial and human resources in this activity, the target being to reach the highest level of specialization in the lifting field. Perhaps the only oldest company in the world for manufacturing tower cranes. FM Gru is specialized in this field and working only for lifting solutions. Instead of diversification, it focuses on to be specialized in this industry providing all kinds of challenging solutions.

FM Gru all products are tested before delivery to insure zero failure ratio. Its products are of "CE FEM A4" standard which is highest standard in the CE category.  CE FEM A4 – The higher the numbers of the crane group, the thicker the steel sheet and tubing used and the more robust the crane. "Given the same load, an increase in the crane group by one level e.g, from A3 to A4) corresponds to a doubling of the expected useful life.

All crane mechanisms come with variable frequency drive control and up to speed control which will give better torque and less consumption of power.

High Quality Standard The qualitative standard of products and services has always been the objective of FM Gru strategy. For services, it is achieved through procedures certified by quality control services, for product through strict compliance with standards specific laboratory tests, modern equipment, qualified staff and lastly, strict final tests. All above guarantee the high quality standard of FM Gru Products.

Services Technical Assistance given to the customers in solving problems related to the use of cranes on building sites is a main target of FM Gru and hence of DCS. DCS are available locally and are able to professionally act within a short period of time.

Spare Parts and Components Prompt and speedy spare services are ensured by DCS trading by maintaining stock of parts locally in India. Availability and a flexible productive organization allow any spare parts to reach, in short time, all the building sites where our cranes are working.

Training Courses To ensure a constantly efficient after-sales services, DCS holds periodical refresher and training courses for crane operators, assembling and electrical technicians.

Production Technlogy Innovative Technologies For FM Gru Cranes Means, forcefulness and ability for a state-of-the-art technological process.

Manufacture of the metal structures that form the cranes implies a whole series of technologies able to guarantee safety in the construction of couplings, precision assemblies and interchangeable products.

  • Treatments to prepare the surfaces of the basic material
  • Mechanical machining processes on numeric control machine tools
  • Arc welding (mag type) on flexible robots featuring integrated ultrasound monitoring systems
  • Paint coating or galvanizing finishing treatments
  • Dimensional and quality inspections conducted during each phase of the productive process.
Accurate management of this series of operations is optimized by complex computerized systems that guarantee compliance with the specifications given in the project.

Customization FM Gru engineers are able to design cranes according to your requirements.
