ACE - India's Largest Crane Brand - first to launch Electric Mobile Crane and 180-ton Crawler Crane in India at bauma CONEXPO 2023

Says Mr. Sorab Agarwal, Director, “We are the first Indian company to have launched an electric, tyre-mounted, telescopic boom crane in India. It is completely designed and engineered by us with a four-wheel drive axle configuration suitable for Indian working conditions. No doubt, it comes with a higher price, but we are confident that it will deliver faster payback to owners within two years, and they will also incur lesser operating costs. The crane is suitable for general purpose applications and will also perform well at industrial sites that fall under the hazardous Zone II.”
He adds, “We also take pride in being the first Indian company to have launched a crawler crane of 180-ton capacity for use in urban and general infrastructure projects. The crane has all the safety features such as anti-toppling, safe load indicator etc, and a lattice boom made of high tensile steel. We have ensured complete stability of the crane while designing the tracks and super structure.”

He informs that the company will be expanding its range of crawler cranes with higher capacities as per the current demand, and are also planning a 200-tons and 250-tons crawler cranes. ACE manufactures 45-55-75-80-100 tons crawler lattice boom cranes at its facility in Faridabad. As regards competition, Mr. Agarwal says, “A major chunk of the market comprises of the lighter and medium capacity crawler and mobile cranes. Given the strong demand fundamentals, there is ample scope for offering cranes of higher capacities such as our 180-ton crane that has a lot of competitive features, besides being designed for Indian operating conditions. The company has also launched a range of Telehandlers which have primarily been developed keeping in mind the export potential along with domestic usage and the 35 Tons capacity 4X4 Pick and Carry Crane which is the largest Pick and Carry Crane to be introduced by ACE, who is also the world’s largest producer of Pick and Carry Cranes.
Showcasing the engineering strength and manufacturing capabilities of the Country, the company has also launched India’s First range of locally produced Self-propelled Aerial Work Platforms (AWP). The company has introduced both Articulated and Straight Boom Access Platforms to cater to Indian as well as Export markets. These compact and robust build indigenous machines are designed to provide access solutions at heights and come fitted with state-of-the-art safety features to optimise working safely at heights.

The company‘s new FT series of flattop tower crane comes with a completely in-house developed technology. “We will be targeting the prefabricated construction segment for lifting heavy prefabricated sections and for general infrastructure construction jobs,” says Mr. Agarwal.
He informs that ACE is also foraying into the truck crane segment with plans to develop a 110-tons truck crane with power packs from engine OEMs, and dedicated chassis at par with the 6x4 and 8x4, 25- to 80-tons truck crane. “Our dedicated chassis will give the truck crane better center of gravity and stability.”
ACE is setting up a new manufacturing facility at Faridabad which is slated for commissioning by 2nd qtr. of 2023 .Says Mr. Agarwal, “The new facility will give us ample leg room to expand our production throughput to meet the growing demand for construction equipment.”
