Thyssenkrupp working on value engineering

Thyssenkrupp is looking to expand its business footprint in the Indian crushing and screening market with its range of products that are supported by strong levels of value engineering.

Chanchal Sinha, Business Head- SMB, Thyssenkrupp Industries India
Mr. Chanchal Sinha, Business Head- SMB, Thyssenkrupp Industries India, said, “Our highly rugged crushing products have less wear and tear, and, therefore, have an extended lifespan. This is because of our emphasis on using the right raw materials, undertaking quality tests before processing them in our foundries, and our superior production systems. We carry our critical advanced engineering in the products to make them price and quality competitive, when used in both mining and mineral processing jobs.

He informed that the crushers have manganese steel liners, and their designing takes into consideration the nature of rock abrasiveness, hardness and other characteristics. The conveyor is designed as per the required volumes of stock piles and space allocation, etc. For limestone crushing, the company offers vertical shaft impactors, and regular solutions for coal and iron ore crushing.

Following ThyssenKrupp’s acquisition of Indian crushing and screening major Nawa, a few years ago, the company has expanded its product range. “We will be offering the E-series range of Nawa crushers, primarily for the aggregates crushing in the range of 100-350 tph. While we will position our P-Series crushers for the higher-end applications, the positioning will be based on the pricing as well,” added Mr. Sinha. He informed that Nawa products were being made more productive, with lesser maintenance needs, and safer to operate. A major feature in the design of the P-series is the auto greasing and the best-in-class cooling system for the cone crusher.
