New Terex® MV2000 VSI Module Produces Highly Cubical Product

Terex Minerals Processing Systems (MPS) has launched the new MV2000 Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI) Module, increasing the application capabilities and crushing efficiency of its existing modular product range.

The MV2000 VSI Module features a high performance Terex® Canica VSI2000SD single drive vertical shaft impactor powered by a 300 hp (224 kW) electric motor with soft start. The VSI2000SD produces highly cubical products in small sizes and eliminates soft material. The patented Hydralid Lid Lifter mechanism provides a convenient method for one person to remotely open the lid. Other key features of the MV2000 Module include an extra heavy-duty I-beam frame, robust user-friendly control panel, galvanized steel structure including walkways, steps and guard rails. Designed with logistics in mind, the MV2000 VSI Module, including all its components, can be transported in one container.


The Terex modular product line consists of several pre-designed static and semi-static crushing and screening "plug and play" modules. Set up time and ease of operation is aided by the simplicity of the modular product range. It is designed to fit and work together interchangeably. All modules bolt together on site and require minimal on-site wiring.
