From Field to Crusher Plant
Laterite quarry owners switch to MB Crusher Screening Unit to segregate pebbles from the soil and obtain M-Sand.
An established laterite quarry in south India was looking for a solution to segregate very precisely the pebbles from the soil from a farm land located near their site. Since the land was covered in mixed materials, including pebbles and soil, they needed to clean out the field and make the land pebble-free for the cultivation of mangoes.
They were using a skeleton bucket on their Hyundai excavator but were not happy with the overall performance because the method was time consuming and the mud kept getting stuck on the pebbles while excavating. As a result, they kept obtaining low quality material which needed to be washed, and at the end of the whole process the material obtained did not meet the required quality level.
They already had a small crusher plant at their quarry that they used to crush the excavated pebbles to produce M-Sand. With the acquisition of an MB Screening bucket MB-S18 they could turn this overall time consuming and non-effective process into a much more productive one.
The MB Screening Bucket MB-S18 with 40 x 40mm mesh was able to quickly segregate pebbles from the soil and in just one step wash them clean with precision.
After completing this process they could send the clean pebbles for feeding into their crusher plant at their quarry for the production of M-Sand. With the help of the MB Screening Bucket, they can now feed their crusher with more than 75 TPH and meet their requirements. This has not only helped them save time but has increased their overall work efficiency, resulting in optimal utilization of resources.
