Layher scaffolding uses a simple, unique, and bolt-free connection technology. Sliding the wedge head over the rosette and inserting the wedge into the opening immediately secures the component. There is still sufficient play to secure the other end of the ledger. A hammer blow to the wedge transforms the loose connection into a superbly strong structurally rigid one. The face of the wedge head is now precisely positioned against the standard.

Application of Layher Scaffold for High-Rise building in Turkey
Construction of Façade Scaffold about 90 metres high, was a big challenge in construction of this Residential Building that rose into the sky. During construction, the biggest challenge was posed by the recessed balconies on every second side of the building. Providing scaffolding around these drew on all the experience of the scaffolding erectors and flexibility of systems. But this problem was quickly overcome with special structures by attaching the necessary anchoring continually as scaffolding assembly progressed.
Before starting construction of the scaffolding, one needs to confirm the surface load-bearing capacity and layout, and suitable load-distributing base. These bases must extend over both uprights. When positioning, stay within the maximum clearance from the wall, otherwise, there is risk of falling. The need to follow design is sometime difficult due to site condition, and one has to stiffen the scaffolding with vertical diagonal brace.
By bracing the scaffolding vertically with SpeedyScaf lattice beams, even the increased wind loads could be transferred without putting unnecessary strain on the structure.

Easy assembly and the use of a hoist meant that the assembly time took just five weeks. Load bearing capacity of individual spindles (base plate) are subjected to a weight of upto 5 tons.
