Innovations in any industry doesn't happen overnight, it takes time, to understand a product and desire to take it to the next level of excellence. Monolithic concreting was seen as an important new concept for the housing market and with the development of lightweight, handheld aluminium formwork, monolithic concreting became a huge success.
We entered into the aluminium formwork business in 1991 and have taken our products to new heights, with an experience of over 20 years both in manufacturing and site operations. Coming from a contracting background, Mivan, we were able to develop on site work cycles to achieve a speed of construction (4 days per floor) unheard of in the industry before and by introducing new innovations into our manufacturing processes, we have developed a standard that is the benchmark for our industry.

Supplying formwork for a project and then walking away, fingers crossed, hoping the contractor will make it work, is not our way.As soon as our material arrives onto the site, our experienced MFE team of supervisors arrived too, to ensure the smooth start up of our operations. Our procedure is simple and straight forward, pass on our experience and knowledge to make the formwork achieve the speed of construction and quality of finish that is expected from the market leader in our niche industry.
From the proper handling of our equipment, to getting the labour force into teams to undertake the necessary processes within given timeframes, to meet the agreed work cycles MFE can achieve.
When we entered into the Indian market in 2002, the normal construction time to complete one floor was 14–15 days. MFE brought that timeframe down to 5–6 days per floor and still achieving a quality of the formed surface that was unthinkable in shear wall construction methods, before we entered into the market.

Striking MFE formwork within our timeframes, has been the biggest hurdle we have had to overcome in all new markets. We strip our wall forms 12 hours after pouring concrete and slab formwork after 36 hours. Getting this across to engineers is sometimes difficult as it is almost impossible to strike conventional formwork in the same timing. Changing people's mind set by proposing new solutions or suggesting new possibilities is so important to move to the next level of excellence.Being able to strike so early allows us to construct floors in a 4 day work cycle which at one time people thought was impossible to achieve.

Safety on the site is a great responsibility for all those involved. Reducing accident risk, a professional approach to safety also delivers a number of other significant benefits which pay off your company in terms of higher efficiency due to faster workflows, legal certainty and the motivational boost given to employees and also to your corporate image.We know formwork plays a major and top most construction activity on building of any concrete structures. Nowadays, most of the projects are time bound, this formwork activity will be a critical for achieving faster construction. Huge increase in Highrise structures and also there is good growth in infrastructure projects such as Airports, Highways, Power, etc, it is imperative for the project owners and investors to complete the projects ahead or on time to generate revenues. The modernization & mechanization taking place in these projects has a vital role to play to achieve speed, increase productivity and utilise economy of scale in bringing down the unit cost to meet the rising demand. One of the Key factors "Formwork", has to face the challenges for the Completion of Fast track projects. By going in for a System / Engineered Formwork, substantial savings are possible by faster return on investments.As you know, there is no specific monitoring body to assess the demand / supply of formwork as well as total shuttering done in India. For example, take in the case of cement, the production and consumption can be taken from Cement Manufacturers Association as well details are also available for Ready mix concrete etc., to a good extent.
