The range of pavers that UNIPAVE offered are UAP – 04, AUTOPAVE – 09, UWM – 05, ESP – 03 and ESP – 05.
Unipave UAP – 04 and UWM – 05 pavers are powered by Kirloskar make water-cooled electric start Diesel Engine Model 4R-1040 ( 60 hp @ 2000 rpm) or equivalent. They both have mechanical transmission, 8 speed reduction gearbox with differential lock arrangement. Their all the gears are of alloy steel and are hardened and ground and working in oil bath.
The brakes of both the pavers consist of hydraulic caliper and brake booster, which is controlled by pedal from operator’s seat. The safety brakes are acting on the speed shaft, which are coupled to the drive wheels.
In UAP – 04 two thrust rollers are fixed on front beam fitted on front part of the machine whereas in the case of UWM – 05 two thrust rollers are fixed on heavy oscillating beam provided on front part of the machine.
Operator’s seat is fitted on the left side in both the machines. The seat is adjustable. All panels and levers are within the easy reach of the operator.
The movement of two hoppers is obtained by means of hydraulic cylinder in both the pavers. Two conveyor chains one on each side is independently controlled and made of harden steel. Material conveyed on both side is sprayed by two auger, both auger, both independently controlled by levers provided near the operator’s seat. 12 V battery is provided for lighting system working and traveling of machines. The adjustable of Grade and Slope of laying mat can be controlled by Electronic sensor so as to have accurate profile of mat as per job requirement in case of both the pavers.
