New Wirtgen Cold Milling Machine–W 100
The W 100 houses a powerful 6-cylinder Deutz turbo diesel engine with an output of 155 kW, which complies with the stringent requirements of the exhaust emission standards stipulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA, Tier III) and the EU (Stage III). The standard W 100 is supplied as a 4-wheeled model and features permanent all-wheel drive for optimum, uniform traction. The machine has an operating weight of 14,250 daN (kg). These features make the W 100 ideally suited both for the economical rehabilitation of road pavements and for the removal of entire pavement packages. The W 100 is an ideal completion of the product series concept in the small milling machine range and represents the high-end machine in the 1-m rear loading class. Owing to its extended performance scope, the W 100 supersedes both the W 1000 and the W 1000 L in Wirtgen’s uniquely broad product portfolio comprising as many as 15 cold milling machine models.

Robust Toolholder System HT11
At the customer’s request, the milling drum can be supplied with Wirtgen’s original quick-change toolholder system HT11. With this system, the upper part of the tool holder is fastened to the bottom part by means of a retaining bolt, thus making it easy to remove or replace the upper parts directly on the job site in case of damage or wear and tear. High-quality materials are used to optimize the robust HT11 system for wear and tear. HT11 increases the life and economic efficiency of the milling drum.Flexible Cutter System Greatly Increases Application Range

LEVEL PRO:Superior Levelling Precision Made by Wirtgen
Precise, safe leveling systems are part of the Windhagen based milling specialist’s core competences. Wirtgen has now developed an own, trend-setting leveling system with software specifically programmed for cold milling machines. The complete system consists of sensors, a controller unit and a control panel for the machine operator. Important parameters, like target and actual milling depth values on the left and right machine sides as well as slope values, are clearly shown on the graphics-capable display of the control panel. Large tactile switches enable the operator to safely key in or correct values. Digital signal processing ensures highly precise milling results on the job site.
