Navayuga Performs a Hat-rick With Marini
Growing a business in a highly competitive market and especially during times like these is not an easy task. But that is exactly what Navayuga Engineering has been doing since they started venturing into the road construction business. Last year Navayuga Engineering made big news when they installed the greenest asphalt plant in India, their first MARINI MAC. In March 2011, they installed their third Marini MAC 200, and have since produced over 25 000 tons of asphalt mix.
We have come a long way since we put in our first Marini Asphalt plant. The efficiency, professional project management and technical expertise of the Marini team, is exceptional, says Navayuga Plant Manager Mr. Gangaraju. Productivity, performance and exceptional fuel efficiency are the key reasons that we chose Marini over other brands reiterates Mr. Rambabu Vice President Navayuga Engineering.
"We have with ease produced and laid a record 2700 tons of asphalt per day using a single Marini plant, at our Nizamabad project. Marini's fuel efficiency has been remarkable; we operate Marini plants with heavy oil. These factors have undoubtedly helped us attain profitability and timely project execution. Our first plant has clocked 100 000 tonnes of asphalt and we have not had a single breakdown" – states Mr. Narendra Senior Site Manager.
The Marini MAC plant installed at Navayuga's Udipi site, is Future ready. The plant can easily process 35 - 45 % Recycled asphalt. The Marini MAC has been configured with automation and controls that will allow Navayuga to use the latest mix designs and energy saving mix technologies available in the international market. Navayuga can produce low carbon mixes, colored asphalt, or even add specific liquid/ solid asphalt performance enhancers. The Cybertronic system on the Marini MAC will allow Navayuga to produce these mixes, precisely metered and accurately dosed, with great ease.
The plant is supplied with Marini's highly energy efficient Heavy oil firing system. Unlike other plant suppliers, the eco-friendly burner on Marini doesn"t require electrical heaters and circuits to prepare the fuel for fine atomization. Most plants use up to 120 KW and above of electrical heating power, while using Heavy oil. However with the Marini MAC, Navayuga will not only benefit from Marini's high fuel efficiency, but it will also save a lot of electrical energy, for its entire lifetime – adds Blesson Varghese, Director, Marini India.
Navayuga's Udupi toll road project covers a length of 90 kms and would require around 250 000 of hot mix. The project passes thru environmentally sensitive areas and needs to be constructed in 30 months. Navayuga is upbeat with their experience on the Marini plants and expect to complete the project ahead of schedule.
The Marini India engineers, were highly co-operative and very well customer oriented. We had some deadlines to meet, before the financial year end. Marini team helped us put up the plant in time and produce the required mix to meet our financial targets – adds an elated Mr Y Pratapkumar.
