Maximize Productivity and Cost-Efficiency with CASE Motor Graders

The BS (CEV/Trem) V standards set to be enforced from April 1, 2024 will encompass a broader spectrum of engines, including those with power ratings smaller than 8 kW and those exceeding 560 kW. The standards will also introduce particle number (PN) limits for engines with rated power falling within the range of 19 to 560 kW. This regulatory framework aims to enhance emissions control and environmental compliance within the specified categories of diesel engine equipment.
The new emission norms can indeed have an impact on the demand for motor graders in India. In fact, the stricter emission regulations have led to the introduction of newer and more technologically advanced motor graders that comply with these norms. They are also more environmentally friendly and less polluting. However, they will come at a higher initial purchase price due to integration of the advanced emission control technologies.

To meet the evolving needs of our customers in both the rental segment and for individual ownership, we remain committed to delivering compelling product value propositions that set our motor graders apart in terms of technological competitiveness and economic viability. Our primary focus is on offering class-leading features that are designed to maximize both productivity and cost-efficiency. We understand that fuel efficiency is paramount, and our motor graders are engineered to deliver higher levels of productivity while consuming less fuel. This not only lowers operational costs but also reduces the environmental impact, aligning with the demands of the stringent emission norms.
To further enhance the economic viability of our graders, we have extended the maintenance intervals, so that our machines require less frequent servicing, and have reduced downtime and maintenance expenses for the owners. Our aim is to ensure that our customers not only receive top-notch equipment but also benefit from a reduced total cost of ownership, making our motor graders more affordable in the long run.
Our state-of-the-art telematics system provides real-time data on critical aspects such as fuel consumption and operations. It also issues timely service alerts, enabling proactive maintenance to prevent costly breakdowns. This ensures the longevity of our machines and customers can manage their fleet more efficiently.
CASE India’s motor graders include the C-series models 845C and 865C with a wide horsepower range of 150HP to 220HP. The variable horsepower output at 220 rpm - 193HP / 205HP / 220HP ensures that the graders can tackle a wide range of applications in all kinds of terrains and grading tasks, including mining.
Our C-series are powerful machines with the FPT 6.7L turbocharged BS (CEV) IV, electronically controlled diesel engine that not only delivers robust performance but also meets the emission regulations for environmental compliance. An intelligent hydraulic system with a load sensor is a game changer for operator’s convenience and productivity. Operators can effortlessly regulate the moldboard directly from the cabin. The advanced load-sensing hydraulic system enhances precision, smoothness, and accuracy in all grader movements, which is vital for delivering quantity and quality grading. The result is maximized productivity and improved grading outcomes, which are crucial for the success of construction and infrastructure projects.
Both the 845C and the 865C feature a ROPS/FOPS open cab with an adjustable suspension vinyl seat and user-friendly controls for improved accessibility and unobstructed visibility. The electronic information centre provides crucial data, tachometer readings, transmission modes (automatic/manual), engine cooling temperature, fuel levels and consumption, and engine and transmission diagnostics.
Our automated grading is of global quality standards. But while the technology offers significant advantages in terms of efficiency and precision, these motor graders are also cost-intensive. For the Indian rental segment, adopting advanced technologies will be influenced by factors such as project scale, duration, and budget constraints. Hence, the decision to implement automated grading and load-sensing hydraulic systems should be carefully evaluated based on the specific needs and budget considerations of the customer.
As part of customer support, we want to ensure the total cost of ownership of all CASE equipment. Both our light and heavy machines come with a standard base warranty coverage of one year from the day of delivery. We also support customers with extended warranties and service packages through ‘CASE Protect’ and ‘CASE Care’, and provide operator training so that operators can use our machines with optimum efficiency.
We have an extensive network of 70 dealers and 200 touch points – all of which are manned by trained and certified personnel who deliver top-notch sales and post-sales support. To further bolster this, we have a 75000 sq. ft. central warehouse in Indore for spares, with an inventory of 13000 skus, and depots in Faridabad and Guwahati to cater to other parts of India. We are continuously strengthening our network of dealers to reach more markets across the country.
