Seeing rapid changes in new technologies, Macons is continuously investing heavily in developing technically advanced machines and has recently unveiled two such machines. Its high- capacity concrete batching/mixing plant called MAC – 112 WITH TWIN SHAFT MIXER (with skid), is currently being used at the four-laning road project of Bathinda to Chandigarh, while the MCP-BIN-90 WITH TWIN SHAFT MIXER (IN-LINE Bin) has been deployed in the prestigious Katni to Umaria Concrete Road Project in Madhya Pradesh, where it offers continuous operation with optimum output.

The very compact MAC-112 requires minimum civil foundations (only four footprints) in comparison to other conventional plants. Since it is supplied in a ready-to-use condition, that is, it is completely pre-wired and pre-piped, so no time is lost in erecting it. The equipment can be transported easily and it needs very little assembling/disassembling when shifted from one site to another, so the client also saves time and money.

Fitted with the latest Batching software, the MAC model is specifically designed for production of concrete at sites where quality, flexibility, and performance are the key. Made by a welded construction of steel profiles, the machine's complete structure is shot blasted before the primary coat of paint is applied.

The most important advantage of MAC is that it provides more than 100% production and needs little maintenance, which in turn leads to decrease in production cost. Other salient features are that MAC is available with skid; it has a robust structure so there is less wear and tear of parts; has an in-built control cabin; excellent mixing quality; in-built pipeline of water, additives and, pneumatics; tilting type control cabin for easy transportation; heavy duty structure; increased efficiency on site as it takes only one operator to run the plant; and, separate power pack to open/close mixer gate window, bypassing the need to start mixer motor during cleaning or maintenance.

MCP-BIN-90, Horizontal MCP Series Concrete Batching/Mixing Plant is an innovative product of Macons. It is fully automatic with electronic load cell type weighing batching system for aggregates, cement, water and additives. It has an electronic weigh batching system with PLC based control for aggregate, cement, water and additives and separate indications for Time, Date, Batch Number, Weight, etc, for each cycle.

It is equipped with 6 load cells for aggregate weighing, 4 load cells for cement weighing, 3 load cells for water weighing and 1 load cell for additive weighing. The recipes, production quantity and batch size selection have to be entered as per the production quantity selected, and all operations carried out are fully automatic with HMI and PLC/PC control panel. It is available with PAN / Single shaft / Twin shaft and Planetary Mixer.
