Arx's Motor Graders, Blast Hole Drill Rigs & Dust Suppression Systems
The motor graders displayed by Arx Mining and Construction Equipment India, comprised the G3200 of 32 tons, G2100 of 21 tons and G1200 of 12 tons. The Arx Graders come with the latest driveline from Western Europe, and have a high structural rigidity, and articulated blades of the right widths. The machines have been built to deliver optimum productivity, and total cost of operations along with savings. Trimble mapping systems enhance performance of the graders for road construction applications.
Features of motor grader that delivers productivity include automatic power transmission with lock up clutch and torque converter, rear tandem bogie axle with drill lock/no spin system for easier operations and to prevent damage to gears. An integrated torque converter and lock up clutch enables 15-20 percent fuel efficiency. The machines claims to have superior cooling systems and variable demand fan drive for reduction in noise and fuel consumption.

We have designed them with a simple operational mechanism, which ensures reliable operations and higher productivity. They have a robust steel box structure to withstand all kinds of heavy-duty cycles. The machines emit a low noise emission, and their hydraulic system has an exceptionally high life expectancy to power hydraulic operations. The axial piston hydraulic variable volume pumps with electronic controller and controls valves for superior controls and precision in hydraulic operations. For maximum utilization of the controls, the operator cab has been designed for all-round visibility and comfort to reduce fatigue, and all the controls and levers are within easy reach. We have positioned our graders both for road construction and mining.”
Arx powerful blast hole drill rigs (DTH/Rotary) D3300 work with precision and both the rotary and direct rotary drills have twice the traction speed of conventional drills to give maximum productivity. Their rapid set up times for drilling due to their slewing feature and no stabilizers is an important feature. They can be fitted with a compressor of customer’s choice, and are equipped with all the standard features like water injection, break-out wrench, and dust collector.
Also on display at Excon was Arx dust suppression system S0600 which can spray a water mist up to 60m for haul roads and mine heads. The Arx S0600 is a solution for dust suppression in industries and sites where dust pollution is a high risk to the health and wellbeing of employees - mines, quarries, road building sites, industries like cement and steel manufacturing, excavation and demolition sites.
Said Ramachandran, “We are developing superior products through our advanced manufacturing processes like an integrated assembly line and high-end fabrication unit. We will be driving sales directly and through our dealers. Parts support will be rendered from our warehouse in Nagpur.”
