Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company launched the EX 215LCQ Super+ series Quarry excavator on 10th March 2021 at its manufacturing plant in Dharwad, Karnataka in the presence of a distinguished gathering of customers and officials from Tata Hitachi. This product will roll out from Tata Hitachi’s Dharwad and Kharagpur plants.

Tata Hitachi launches EX 215LCQ Super+ series Quarry excavator

Growth in the infrastructure segment fuels the growth in blue metal quarry segment. The Quarry segment comes with its own set of unique requirements. Tata Hitachi has studied these specific requirements in detail and has developed the new Super+ series model EX 215LCQ, The Quarry Specialist.

In quarry application, undercarriage life and structural durability of the equipment is a key requirement. With mounting costs, machine owners need to get more production out of their equipment while keeping the fuel and maintenance costs. EX 215LCQ has been engineered with these requirements in mind. With the all-new longer HD track frame, the new Quarry undercarriage parts with 25% thicker shoes, wider links, heavier rollers, HD sprocket, idler and adjuster, the machine brings in a class defining undercarriage. With the HD mainframe, HD boom and reinforced arm durability of structures is assured. The all-new 0.91m3 quarry re-handling bucket helps increase productivity of the machine. The standard electric fuel filling pump makes fueling a simple, quick and safe operation. The proven OHS Hydraulic system of Tata Hitachi along with the increased service intervals of parts help keep the fuel and maintenance costs to the minimum without compromising on performance.

EX 215LCQ is powered by a proven and reliable and powerful Cummins engine. The machine’s Optimum Hydraulic System (OHS) is designed to adapt to a variety of attachments like quick coupler, rock breaker, orange peel grab, crusher, shear, magnet, clamshell bucket making this machine versatile for various kinds of applications.
