Case Construction Equipment India is leveraging its expertise in the design and development of high-quality products to expand its business. The company prides itself on its sound technological capabilities and competitive products such as its 1107FX and 952EX Vibratory Compactors, 1650L & 2050M Dozer, and 865C Graders.Case products are manufactured at its Pithampur facility, which is catering to the requirements of both the domestic and export markets.

“The initial cost of our machines may have risen due to the new emission norms, but we ensure that our products deliver the total lifecycle cost, while giving high productivity. We ensure that the machines of our customers get regular technical support. We also provide financial support through Case Financial Support Services to customers looking to finance their machines.”

Chaturvedi informs, “Case machines have high quality aggregates and are fuel efficient as they are driven by Case’s FPT engines;while advanced telematics is enabling project developers and contractors to derive higher productivity with lower operating costs. Digitization in our excavators and backhoe loaders is making quarry operations more efficient. This is because the machines can handle multi products, aggregates, M-sand etc at the quarry sites.”

With competition on the rise, especially in the backhoe loader and tracked excavator segment, equipment manufacturers are hard put to strengthen their brand presence. Avers Chaturvedi, “We are making continuous product upgrades based on customer feedback. We also undertake onsite simulation to validate the performance of our products and the aggregates supplied by the OEMs. This raises the confidence of the end-users in the reliable performance of our products. We recently undertook onsite condition monitoring of the lubricant supplied by a producer, which helped the lubricant company to further improve their products by extending the drain-out intervals for the engine’s gear oil and hydraulic oil.”

The 900 sqm training center has three classrooms and a workshop where up to 72 trainees can be trained at any given time. It is equipped with multi-mode facilities allowing both on-ground and virtual sessions via the company’s online training portal. The company’s skill development center for the Hunar initiative, located in Sonvai, Rau, near Pithampur, is a 1200 sqft facility that trains 240 professionals every year.

Products manufactured at the Pithampur plant are exported to over 75 countries, including Africa, the Middle East, the Asia Pacific region, North and Latin America. The integrated in-house manufacturing facility has automated fabrication, painting, assembly, and product testing, and an R&D facility. “All our machines go through regular upgrades and are designed to be future-ready. In 2022, our plant achieved a significant milestone by manufacturing 50,000 loader backhoes,” informs Chaturvedi.
